Allan Linder at the Los Angeles Art exposition in the convention center in 1989. This painting titled "lost" was sold before it was finished during his live demonstration period. You can see some of the details below. The art collector that acquired this piece is a well-known Hollywood mogul that started collecting Allan's work based on this exhibit.
The piece titled "Anticipation" was not signed by the artist until 1990. And the "Rolls Royce" study is the first of two identical paintings that were commissioned by a law firm. The second "Rolls Royce painting was painted in acrylic, this study was created using mixed media. Allan exhibited in several other galleries later this year. |
