Liquid gold
The elements mix and condense over millions of years, they blend and congeal, then one day they were discovered. As I was thinking about geology and it's origins, the tube of wild iris acrylic in my hand was accidentally spilling out onto my canvas, I almost stopped it, then I thought about the minerals again and it all made sense.
