Covered in green, the deepest jungles give up their prescious gems of living history to the medical establishments to save lives. We pluck their foliage and pull their rhizomes, grind them into powders and squeeze out their juices. Another disease is cured somewhere in the world, while the proud Mother watches, patiently licking her wounds.
