Young Professionals for CARE invites you to MOVE 2011: A Benefit for CARE on Thursday, June 9, at Avenue. Join 300+ young professionals for a night of art, cocktails, music, and swag. Silent Auction of International artist Allan Linder's artwork donated to CARE.

Avenue Club is located at the crossroads of Chelsea and the Meatpacking District in New York. It is a well-known place because of many superstars that came and still come here to start their nights, such as Rihanna, Alicia Keys, and Halsey – it is a, so–called, “go-to-meeting” place. Kim Kardashian, Marc Jacobs, Derek Jeter, and many others had their private parties in this club, so it is certainly the place to see and to be seen.

Young Professionals for CARE is dedicated to supporting CARE and its mission to end global poverty. Whether artists or lawyers, bankers or journalists, young professionals have the knowledge, power, and passion to advance health, opportunity, and prosperity in the world's poorest communities. We share CARE's commitment to building a world of hope, tolerance, and social justice. We connect individuals with shared values and sensibilities to efforts that help empower people around the world to overcome poverty.

The Club started its first nights in Los Angeles, as a venue founded by the TAO Group. The magical atmosphere of Hollywood glamour and superstar dust had been brought also to the East Coast. Two opposite coasts – West and East, and two, competitive metropolises, for their glamour, but also for their style of life.

New York has always been a European chic city, while Los Angeles has kept its Ocean magic and easygoing style, even having Hollywood inside – these two cities have one place in common – Avenue Club! You can visit it in New York, while snows, enjoying the Club’s secure heat, or you can enjoy it close to the Pacific.

Linder exhibited his thought-provoking artwork to be auctioned for Charity. Linder's work consists of paintings protesting the current war. The auction was well received and the turnout for this benefit was immense.
