This beautiful railway station was originally built in 1871. The magnificent sandstone neo-Renaissance building features richly decorated lobbies and atriums, restaurants, and halls. Originally housed inside it was the headquarters of the Schweizerische Nordostbahn (NOB). The train shed, spanned by iron trusses, initially covered six tracks. Its stone walls with arches and arched windows portrayed a simple, monumental impression of space.

This is a view of the spacious main hall with all of the work in preparation for the show.

SUPREME MIND

2022

Breaking from tradition, Linder is exhibiting his digital series of paintings titled Eternal Energy.

"The supreme mind came to me in a dream. I have been exploring new ways of painting through digital technology in combination with real-world art tools. I decided to use these new fractal design tools to create the essence of the human condition and what that might look like in the future."

"As we enter the metaverse more and more, we need a representation of who we are as individuals. The idea of the Supreme Mind as a physical avatar called to me. Thus began my pursuit of finding the essence of human portraits as futuristic digital avatars. A new beginning for my work, and a bridge between real and unreal." ~ Linder

Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it always was, always has been, everything that ever existed always exists, it's moving into form, through form, and out of form.

These digital paintings all started as real-world pencil illustrations, scanned at 4k resolution, and then carefully painted in infinitely complex patterns driven by recursion through applied digital paint layers.
