On an afternoon in New York, we visited Monet's Garden exhibit on Wall Street. When we exited the show afterward, It was the right time of day to see light from the sunset streaming across Wall Street with a striking view of the famous gothic church. I decided to capture the moment in a rough sketch and a photo to use as a reference for my work later.
