IMPACT

This series of original paintings explores the environmental reach of each person on this planet.

The impact of a single human being on the environment, with respect to water and pollution, can vary significantly depending on factors such as lifestyle, location, and consumption habits. However, on average, an individual's daily activities can contribute to the depletion of natural resources, water pollution, and the release of greenhouse gases, all of which can have negative impacts on the environment and the health of living beings. Therefore, it is important for individuals to adopt environmentally friendly habits and practices to reduce their impact on the environment.

The amount of waste created by a single human being over their lifetime can vary widely depending on factors such as their lifestyle, consumption habits, and waste management practices. However, here are approximate statistics of global impact:

The average person in the United States generates around 4.9 pounds (2.2 kg) of waste per day or about 1,800 pounds (816 kg) of waste per year.

Over a lifetime of 80 years, this would equate to approximately 144,000 pounds (65,317 kg) of waste per person.

These figures are rough estimates and can vary depending on many factors. Additionally, it's important to note that not all waste is created equal: some types of waste, such as hazardous materials, can have much more severe environmental impacts than others.

IMPACT is a series of paintings that depict the human aura of our own making. This is our hot zone, our own pollution activity, and the environmental reach of each of us created in an abstract painting.
