As the 2026 exhibition season begins, New York–based artist Allan Linder is proud to launch the year by supporting a meaningful cause.
On Saturday, March 21, 2026, Linder will exhibit a new mixed-media painting at Dart for Art, the LymeLight Foundation’s annual exhibition and auction held at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California. The event has sold out for eight consecutive years, and its distinct, high-energy format continues to draw enthusiastic collectors from across the region.
Unlike traditional auctions, Dart for Art is an immersive gallery experience where guests preview the artworks in advance and later dart across the room to claim the piece they want. The atmosphere blends creativity, excitement, and philanthropy, making it a standout event on the West Coast. This year marks Linder’s fourth appearance, underscoring his ongoing commitment to charitable artistic contributions.

WHERE LIGHT LEARNS HER NAME
For the 2026 event, Linder will present Where Light Learns Her Name, a 12" x 12" dynamic mixed-media collage on canvas, created in 2026. This work is part of his upcoming six-piece series Apophenia, which delves into the human tendency to assign meaning based on perception.
The Apophenia series blends textured acrylic layers, collage, and luminous nude silhouettes framed by vibrant natural environments, forests rich with saturated color, sunlight breaking through layered foliage, and organic shapes that harmonize figure and landscape. In Where Light Learns Her Name, a woman steps quietly through a radiant woodland scene, her form embraced by shimmering light and cascading flora. The piece evokes introspection, transformation, and the fragile beauty of connection.

Supporting a Vital Mission
The LymeLight Foundation provides essential grants to children and young adults battling Lyme disease, particularly those whose long-term treatment plans are not covered by insurance. The proceeds from Dart for Art directly support these medical needs, making the event both a celebration of art and a lifeline for families facing serious financial challenges. Linder’s continued involvement reflects his dedication to using art as a force for positive impact.
It is a sold-out night! Dart for Art 2026 is an incredible success at the Computer History Museum.
