The Grey Cube Art Gallery

A Black and White Exhibition
Seattle, WA
April, 2026
Opening Reception April 17 - 6 to 9 pm

Grey Cube Gallery proudly presents its sixth Black & White pop-up art show, held in April 2026. This year’s exhibition brought together a compelling range of artistic voices working across charcoal, acrylic, graphite, photography, digital art, forged steel, ink, porcelain, and scratchboard.

Each submission was carefully evaluated for originality, artistic quality, composition, creativity, interpretation of the theme, technical skill, and effective use of medium. From more than 2,300 entries, only 65 artworks were selected for inclusion, reflecting the strength and selectivity of the exhibition.

The competition drew an international field of artists from Switzerland, Vietnam, Ireland, the United States, Italy, Canada, Taiwan, Sweden, Spain, and Hungary. Among the recognized artists, Allan Linder received the Outstanding Art Merit Award, honoring his contribution to this distinguished global exhibition.

Fade into Night – An Art Series by Allan Linder

Fade into Night is a striking series of black and white acrylic, mixed-media collage paintings that bridge the past and present, nostalgia and innovation. Using authentic black-and-white photographs from the 1940s and 1950s, this collection captures the elegance and grit of vintage nightlife, bustling diners, intimate bars, and vibrant dance halls, infused with the digital imprint of the modern world.
